Ingenoor Kwak (1968) studied law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and started to work in the field of real estate from the moment she was admitted to the Bar in 1994. She has long been associated with major law firms, including CMS Derks, Stibbe and DLA Piper.
She has published in the field of real estate several times and was co-founder and editor of the ‘Tijdschrift voor Huurrecht Bedrijfsruimte’ (a magazine for professionals in the field of commercial lease law). She also wrote a booklet about investing in Dutch real estate for the foreign market. She has successfully completed the Grotius Real Estate course and takes courses every year to keep her knowledge up to date. She is a member of a number of relevant specialist associations. In addition, she taught private law at the SOM, the NVM (real estate brokers) training institute, and taught practical training in the compulsory training of the Dutch Bar Association.
Colleagues and customers describe Ingenoor as legally strong, without burdening customers with extensive advice and as not afraid to go to the cutting edge if the case requires it. She believes in a cooperation with her clients, who are all experts in their own field and know what they want. Due to the limited size of the office, the lines with a client are short and the client is assured of receiving the specialist assistance that he or she asks for, at a reasonable rate.
Ingenoor Kwak has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):
- Lease law (Commercial, Residential)
- Real Estate Law (Construction Law, Neighbor Law, Easements, Ground Leases)
- Contract Law
Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
